TinyShield Support

Use email for private questions and GitHub Issues for public bug reports or feature requests.

1. Contact support

The team aims to answer support emails within 24 hours on business days. Public issues are usually reviewed within two or three business days.

2. Include useful details

For a faster answer, include:

  • Your macOS version.
  • Your TinyShield version.
  • Your Mac model and whether it uses Apple silicon or Intel.
  • The selected connection mode.
  • Clear steps that reproduce the problem.
  • The exact error message.
  • A screenshot or short screen recording when it helps.

Do not post a license key, private hostname, IP address, or other sensitive network data in a public issue.

3. Quick checks

If no connections appear:

  1. Confirm that TinyShield is inside the Applications folder.
  2. Open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions.
  3. Open Network Extensions and make sure TinyShield is on.
  4. Confirm that macOS allowed TinyShield to filter network content.
  5. Reopen TinyShield and make a new connection.

If an app cannot connect:

  1. Check the current mode in the top-right corner.
  2. Search the Block List for the app, domain, or IP address.
  3. In Block All, check whether the destination needs an Allow List entry.
  4. In Require Approval, check for a waiting request.
