End User License Agreement (EULA)

Agreement Overview

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "Licensee") and Proxyman LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") for the use of Tiny Shield software ("Software", "Application").

By downloading, installing, or using Tiny Shield, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

About Tiny Shield

Tiny Shield is a macOS application that provides network traffic monitoring and blocking capabilities. The Software:

  • Monitors network traffic (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, UDP) on your macOS device
  • Allows blocking and stopping of network connections from applications
  • Operates using Apple's Network Extension framework
  • Functions as a system extension with appropriate macOS permissions
  • Processes all data locally on your device

Grant of License

License Types

Standard License ($39)

  • Grants you the right to install and use the Software on one (1) macOS device
  • Includes all premium features
  • Perpetual license with no recurring fees

Combo License ($49)

  • Grants you the right to install and use the Software on two (2) macOS devices
  • Includes all premium features
  • Perpetual license with no recurring fees

License Terms

  1. Usage Rights: This license grants you the right to use the Software for both personal and commercial purposes on the authorized number of devices.

  2. Non-Transferable: The license is non-transferable except as allowed under "License Transfer" section below.

  3. Perpetual: This is a perpetual license - you may use the Software indefinitely.

  4. Updates: Your license includes two (2) years of free updates from the date of purchase.

  5. Device Limitation: You may only install the Software on the number of devices specified in your license type.

Permitted Uses

You may:

  • Install and use the Software on authorized devices for personal network monitoring
  • Monitor network traffic on devices you own or have explicit permission to monitor
  • Create backup copies of the Software for archival purposes
  • Block unwanted network connections from applications on your devices
  • Use the Software to analyze network behavior for security purposes

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Reverse Engineer: Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software
  • Redistribute: Distribute, sell, lease, rent, or sublicense the Software
  • Unauthorized Monitoring: Monitor networks or devices without proper authorization
  • Circumvention: Remove or circumvent any license validation or security measures
  • Illegal Activities: Use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Share License: Share your license key with others or use it on more devices than permitted

System Requirements

Technical Requirements

  • Operating System: macOS 15.0 or later
  • Architecture: Compatible with Intel x64 and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) processors
  • Permissions: Administrator privileges required for system extension installation
  • Network: Internet connection required for initial license activation only

System Extension Installation

  • The Software requires installation as a macOS system extension
  • Installation requires administrator password
  • System extension operates within Apple's security framework
  • User consent required through macOS System Preferences/System Settings

Installation and Activation

Installation Process

  1. Download the Software from authorized sources only
  2. Install using the provided installer package
  3. Grant necessary system permissions when prompted
  4. Activate using your purchased license key

License Activation

  • Internet connection required for initial activation
  • Each device counts toward your license limit upon activation
  • Activation ties the license to your device's hardware identifier
  • License validation may occur periodically

License Transfer

Device Transfer

  • You may transfer your license between your own devices
  • Contact tinyshield@proxyman.com for transfer assistance
  • Original device must be deactivated before transfer
  • Transfer requests processed within 24-48 hours

License Sale/Transfer

  • Licenses cannot be sold or transferred to other users
  • Organization-wide licenses may have different transfer terms - contact us for details
  • Transfer fees may apply for organization-wide licenses

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

  • Proxyman LLC retains all rights, title, and interest in the Software
  • This EULA grants you a license to use, not ownership of the Software
  • All trademarks, copyrights, and patents remain with Proxyman LLC

Third-Party Components

  • The Software may include third-party open source components
  • Such components are governed by their respective licenses
  • Attribution information available within the application

Privacy and Data Handling

Local Processing

  • All network monitoring occurs locally on your device
  • No network traffic content is transmitted to our servers
  • Your browsing data and network content remain private

Data Collection

  • Minimal analytics data collected as outlined in our Privacy Policy
  • License activation requires email address storage
  • No personal network data is collected or transmitted

Updates and Maintenance

  • Free updates provided for two (2) years from purchase date
  • Updates may include bug fixes, security patches, and new features
  • After update period expires, continue using last downloaded version
  • Extended update periods available for purchase

Warranty Disclaimer

AS-IS BASIS

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. PROXYMAN LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Compatibility with all systems or software

User Responsibility

  • You assume all risks associated with Software use
  • Ensure compatibility with your system before use
  • Backup important data before installation
  • Use the Software responsibly and legally

Limitation of Liability

Maximum Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Proxyman LLC's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • This limitation applies regardless of the form of action or legal theory

Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • System downtime or disruption
  • Third-party software conflicts
  • Misuse of the Software
  • Damages resulting from prohibited uses

Termination

Termination by User

  • You may terminate this EULA at any time by uninstalling the Software
  • Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless within refund period
  • Your license remains valid for future use within terms

Termination by Company

We may terminate your license if you:

  • Violate any terms of this EULA
  • Use the Software for illegal purposes
  • Exceed your device license limits
  • Attempt to circumvent license restrictions

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • You must cease all use of the Software
  • Uninstall the Software from all devices
  • License key becomes invalid
  • No refund provided for terminated licenses (except as required by law)

Compliance and Legal Requirements

  • The Software may be subject to export control laws
  • You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws
  • Some features may be restricted in certain jurisdictions

Government and Enterprise Use

Updates to This EULA

This EULA is governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution
